Hammond 1557 ABS Watertight Wallmount Enclosures
The Hammond 1557 Series is engineered for high-performance protection of PCBs and electronic assemblies in demanding environments. Combining a modern, rounded aesthetic with rugged durability, these enclosures offer superior watertight protection. Whether you require a UV-stabilised outdoor solution or a robust indoor housing, the 1557 series provides multiple mounting configurations to suit your project.
Key Technical Features:
- Designed IP Rating: IP66
- Superior Sealing: Features a two-piece tongue and groove construction with a high-temperature silicone gasket.
- Engineered Hardware: Lid secured with M4 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion-resistant bushings, allowing for repeated assembly/disassembly without stripping.
- Versatile Mounting: Every enclosure includes hardware for three configurations:
- Heavy-Duty Wall Mount: Mounting feet positioned outwards.
- Flush Wall Mount: Mounting feet used as discreet keyhole slots.<
- Desktop/Tabletop: Using the included adhesive rubber feet.
- Impact Resistance: High-strength construction with impact ratings of IK07 (ABS) and IK08 (Polycarbonate).
