Hammond 1556 General Purpose Enclosures
Versatile Desktop and Wall-Mount Solutions for IoT and Electronics
The Hammond 1556 series provides a contemporary housing solution for printed circuit boards, IoT equipment, and small electronic devices. Featuring rounded corners and a sleek face for a modern aesthetic, these enclosures are moulded from flame-retardant UL94 V-0 ABS plastic, making them ideal for professional indoor environments.
Designed for ultimate flexibility, the 1556 series can be used as a stable tabletop unit using the included rubber feet or transformed into a wall-mounted enclosure with the optional mounting foot kit. The lap-joint construction ensures a secure fit that protects internal components against dust and splashing water, designed to meet IP54 standards.
Key Technical Features
- Flexible Mounting: Desktop configuration (feet included) or two wall-mount options (flange or keyhole mounting via optional foot kit).
- Internal Versatility: Multiple PCB mounting locations in both the base and lid, compatible with Hammond aluminium inner panels.
- Safety & Durability: Flame-retardant FRABS material (UL94 V-0) with a light satin texture finish.
- Ingress Protection: Designed to meet IP54 for protection against dust and splashes.
- Available Colours: Choice of Black, Grey, or White to match your project's aesthetic.
