The Hammond 1552 series is a premier range of plastic enclosures specifically engineered for handheld comfort and professional durability. Designed with a sculpted, ergonomic profile, these cases provide a natural fit for the user's hand, making them the industry standard for mobile data terminals, medical devices, and industrial remote controllers.

Each unit is moulded from high-quality, flame-retardant UL94-V0 ABS plastic with a professional satin texture. The design features a recessed top surface, perfectly suited for the flush mounting of membrane keypads, displays, or product overlays.

Technical Features & Performance

• Ingress Protection: Features a secure lap-joint construction designed to meet IP54 standards, protecting internal electronics from dust accumulation and splashing water.
• Modular Versatility: Equipped with removable end panels that allow for straightforward machining and customisation. These panels can also be swapped for specialized rubberised cord grips for tethered applications.
• Structural Integrity: Assembled with four self-tapping screws. Larger sizes (C1 and D1) include additional integrated snap-closures along the side walls to ensure maximum sturdiness.
• PCB Mounting: Multiple internal standoffs are moulded into both the lid and the base, allowing for easy and secure circuit board installation.
• Colour Options: Available in professional Black or Light Grey. Black enclosures are supplied with matching black screws, while grey units include nickel-plated hardware for a clean finish.
