Hammond 1550Z series
Economical thick walled diecast aluminum watertight electronic instrument enclosure with natural finish. Rugged but easy to machine, two piece tongue & groove construction O ring seal for protection against access of dust and water to IP66.
Lid screws are outside the gasket protection area to eliminate the need for "O" rings on the screws. Enclosure holes are pre-tapped. Gasket is pre-formed, one-piece silicone rubber. No internal ribs, enabling for easy installation of connectors without interference or additional milling.
