One of our best-selling PAT testers, the UNI-T UT528 is highly popular due to its easy-to-use interface, ability to test a wide variety of appliances, portable and its battery powered design. Highly recommended for use by those new to PAT testing, or for smaller business and offices, the UT528 is incredibly easy to use. The tester features three buttons, each clearly labelled for each type of appliance.
All you need to do to test is connect the included test leads to your tester and appliance, then press the button to test. The UT528 is a ‘manual’ Tester so doesn’t include internal memory storage. So any reading will need to be jotted down.
The UT528 how ever will show the exact readings that are taken. This will allow you to work out what problem may have caused the appliance to fail.
This tester is capable of showing results for earth continuity, insulation resistance and Live / Neutral Checks for o/c, s/c and crossed. This tester is powered by 6 Size C batteries that will last up to 1000 tests.
